Meet The Team
Specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist
Dr Hayley Minter-Brown
Dr Hayley Minter-Brown founded her practice on a simple belief: every woman deserves a clinician who listens without rushing, explains without jargon, and provides thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to her individual journey.
As a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dr Minter-Brown is passionate about giving her patients the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health. She believes that good medical care is not only about clinical expertise, but also about creating a space where women feel heard, respected and comfortable asking questions.
From adolescence and reproductive health through pregnancy, complex gynaecological conditions and menopause, every stage of a woman’s life brings its own changes, questions and choices. Dr Minter-Brown combines specialist clinical knowledge with honest guidance and compassionate support, helping her patients navigate these moments with clarity and confidence.
Her approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine and continued professional development, with particular interests spanning obstetrics, gynaecology, ultrasound and minimally invasive surgery. She completed her MBChB at Stellenbosch University and went on to complete her specialist training through the University of Cape Town, earning her Fellowship of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Throughout her career, Dr Minter-Brown has remained committed to developing her surgical and clinical expertise. She was recognised as Best Registrar in Laparoscopy in 2023 and presented a research poster at the FIGO World Congress in October 2025. Her additional training includes fetal medicine foundation 11-13 week sonar training, advanced obstetric ultrasound course, minimally invasive surgery and laparoscopy training.
Beyond medicine, Hayley is a wife and a mum to a busy but wonderful little boy. Life outside the consulting room is just as important to her, and she loves being outdoors, embracing a little adventure and making the most of time with her family. Equally, there is nothing she enjoys more than settling down with a good book beside the fire.
These experiences shape the doctor she strives to be: knowledgeable and thorough, but also approachable, warm and genuinely invested in the women she cares for.
Her vision is to create a calm and respectful partnership with every patient — a place where your voice is heard, your questions are welcomed, and your wellbeing is supported with both clinical excellence and genuine warmth.
